HR Manager

 

The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented HR Manager to support the Operations Director, with the day-to-day running of the HR department in a stand alone role.  

Reporting to

The HR Manager will report directly to our Operations Director 

Key Objective

The role of HR Manager is to lead on agency people and performance policies, as well as supporting with shaping Reboots values and culture. The HR Manager will feed into the broader agency strategy with the aim of attracting new talent, retaining Reboots top talent and ensuring all people processes are above board.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Owning and updating Reboots HR system (CharlieHR)

  • Creating and maintaining employee records in a confidential manner

  • Preparing, reviewing and amending HR documents i.e employee contracts, NDA’s

  • A trusted, first point of contact for employees on HR matters to include providing solid employee relations advice to line manager, Directors and CEOs

  • Assisting with the setup and monitoring of annual reviews, probation reviews

  • Owning Payroll, equipment & expense queries

  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and inductions inc. set up of meetings, review of CVs and KPIs etc

  • Assisting with the setup of company socials and training days, ensuring we keep within budget and organise events with good notice 

 

Desirable/Skills/Experience

  • Confident leadership and assertiveness around HR best practices

  • Diligent with HR market research and building presentation materials

  • A sound commercial understanding of agency life/setup (digital PR knowledge is beneficial) 

  • Strong, up to date employment law knowledge

  • Experience in managing a range of employee relation cases

  • Previously worked in a stand alone HR position

  • Understand confidentiality and data protection

  • CIPD level 5+

Digital Design Manager

 

The Opportunity 

As the Digital Design Manager for Reboot, you will have lots of demonstrable experience in producing superior creative assets and co-ordinating design projects from start to finish. You will take ownership of digital design output across an array of projects - including branding, events, digital marketing, social campaigns and more! 

 

You will be genuinely passionate about ‘levelling-up’ the agency - helping to power both our internal vision and our clients briefs, through effective use of creative design. Identifying ways in which design technology can help streamline processes and drive better business results.

 

You’ll take that energy and enthusiasm and use it to confidently manage, mentor and motivate Reboot’s design team. You will be hands-on, working to keep output high and deliver creative concepts that impress our clients and do wonders for our own marketing efforts. 

Reporting To

As a Digital Design Manager, you will report directly to our Creative Director.

 

Key Objective

As an assertive and energetic Digital Design Manager you will thrive in high-pressure environments and be keen to share your expertise with the wider team. You will collaborate on internal creative projects, this may be from your own initiative or through breaking down briefs provided by Marketing and Directors. 

 

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day running of the graphic design team; holding them accountable. You will ensure efficient delivery of projects and completion of tasks through setting priorities, deadlines and reviewing output. You will empower and inspire them to deliver solid design solutions and pre-empt queries.

 

You will also work closely with the Operations Director to automate processes that maximise team efficiency and remove bottlenecks.

 

Core Responsibilities 

Design Work and Quality Assurance 

  • Lead design team ideation sessions; always thinking of design concepts that will earn clients organic links and/or best visualise our data

  • Attend digital PR ideation sessions where applicable, to align on heavyweight/augmented campaigns or HRP pieces 

  • Develop extensive design briefs, inc. layout, format, sizing and SEO optimisation elements

  • The go-to for when the team need standard onsite design delivered at pace - with attention to detail and no spelling mistakes

  • Analyse datasets to get to the most suitable angle for design creation (dependent on the campaign type, i.e. HRP/PR)

  • Able to tackle a Hyper Relevancy campaign design from start to finish, with limited to no input from Creative/SEO Directors

  • Proactively reassure managers on the status of assigned design tasks, including for those you oversee, so to avoid status update requests 

  • Carry out in-depth design checks to for team development, but also support client reporting / pitches / QBRs

  • Proactively look for opportunities to develop your design skills and keep your finger on the pulse when it comes to updates in the industry 

 

Design Team Management 

  • Run monthly planning sessions and capacity reviews 

  • Lead weekly sprints with the team to effectively assign and delegate work

  • Assign approximate time estimations and deadlines for design tasks and projects and ensure that these are being met

    • and that the wider team is made aware if/when extensions are needed, for what reason(s), and how we can set more accurate deadlines for similar tasks/projects in the future

  • Keep any design team members and/or freelancers accountable for their work and delivering on tasks efficiently and within agreed upon deadlines 

  • Line manage team members inc. (but not limited to) probation, 1-1s, performance reviews and appraisals

  • Motivate the team to deliver their work to the best of their ability and to follow industry best practises

  • Maintain and develop training documentation and Standard Operating Procedures to streamline dev processes i.e Graphic Design Playbook

  • Train the wider team on processes for any given task or project before work begins on it and to ensure the timely delivery of completed tasks/projects

    • e.g. by creating and managing the use of templated Trello cards to probably scope tasks and/or setting up recurring cards for common design  tasks

  • Educate and inform the wider team on how new technology may be able to help improve and enhance their campaign work and improve processes

Senior Digital PR Executive

 

The Opportunity 

As a Senior Digital PR Executive, you will have demonstrated career ambition and an appetite to learn and progress through the digital PR profession. 

 

Forming part of a POD (headed up by an Account Director), you will have some solid journalist connections under your belt and get a buzz from securing link placement KPIs and supporting Junior Executives to do the same!

Reporting To

Key Objective

As a Senior Digital PR Executive at Reboot, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement link earning Digital PR campaigns to enhance our clients SEO rankings, increase online presence and drive engagement.

 

You will proactively monitor media across multiple sectors in order to effectively ideate and share tips with Junior Executives. You’ll be expected to expertly build media lists and create outreach strategies. Crafting and reviewing press releases to ensure they are of a high standard and fit for purpose and ultimately, outreaching campaigns to build links.

 

You will have exposure to a wide pool of client industries and be expected to put any relevant sector knowledge and experience to good use in team ideation and outreach sessions.

 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Attend and actively contribute to ideation sessions; always thinking of digital PR campaign ideas that will earn clients top tier media coverage and backlinks

  • Proactively on-top of the day-to-day news agenda across news and social platforms and share trending industry topics that can be used for reactive purposes across relevant clients

  • Support with putting campaign ideas/deliverables through their paces in quality control or being able to identify what hasn’t worked so well, and apply these learnings to future campaigns

  • Review campaign datasets to get to the most interesting angle, presenting something new, interesting, and unexpected to media

  • Effective survey question writing and hold an understanding of authoritative data sources to be used in desk research

  • Build on an existing pool for journalist relationships. Working to develop our manual outreach database and make use of PR databases such as Gorkana

  • Write releases to a high standard (spelling/grammar), tailor them to the audience and ensure they are fit for purpose 

  • Create custom, targeted media lists and outreach strategies for PR campaigns that plug in news agenda and sector knowledge

  • Outreach PR campaigns to journalists and news outlets globally, in order to gain high-quality coverage and links

  • Regularly secure high-quality links from top tier nationals and other relevant websites; take the initiative in changing tactics and angles until we hit desired results and you meet your personal KPIs

  • Proactively monitor and track PR coverage - working to convert mentions ASAP

    • Keep the placement backend system up to date

    • Share links with the wider team in #digital-pr channel

  • Support with Junior Digital PR Executive training; buddy up to talk through Reboots standard operating procedures and ensure smooth onboarding

As a Client Partnerships Executive, you would always be looking to take things to the next level! Forming part of the Growth team at Reboot - you will work closely with the Growth Director to drive agency business development, working to spread the word about the agency and help win new clients. 

 

Using your experience selling marketing solutions, either agency-side or within the marketing industry - you will be articulate, energetic and professionally persistent in the pursuit of new client partnerships.

 

This role includes financial incentives on achieving commercial targets.  

Reporting to

As a Client Partnerships Executive you will report directly to our Growth Director.

Key Objective

The role of Client Partnerships Executive is to power our day-to-day sales activities, helping us to spread the word about Reboot and engage with potential customers.  

 

You will own and initiate tasks independently, lead on outreach and contribute to client wins and agency growth. You will be independent - but benefit from the support of our Growth Director and Marketing Manager, and collaborate through the sales process.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to the new business pipeline through outbound, inbound and referral sales channels - scheduling discovery calls and obtaining RFIs/RFPs for the agency

  • Hit and exceed quarterly commercial targets as set by the Growth Director 

  • Be a passionate ambassador for Reboot and support the agency in building awareness and credibility in the industry through valuable insights and professional communications with industry peers 

  • Book meetings for you and the Growth Director to qualify and nurture new leads

  • Deliver outbound sales calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach

  • Manage and qualify certain inbound leads via channels such as our website, procurement partners and affiliate partners

  • Deliver research for outbound sales & marketing campaigns and feed into strategic decisions around which brands we should target and how

  • Support industry events such as webinars and roundtables, including research, preparation and invitations

  • Attend industry events such as conferences to build your industry knowledge and network with potential partners

  • Showcase an understanding of core marketing principles and feed in these learnings through useful suggestions for sales & marketing campaigns
