Here at Reboot, we were inspired by this concept, and we investigated the value offered to the nation’s most popular baby names by sourcing the 20 most popular names, and manually inputting raw data into a tool sourced to identify what a possible future salary could be.

Shoplifting offences across the UK

Britain’s shops collectively lose £800million per year due to shoplifting offences. Utilising data from the Metropolitan Police, we investigated for OnBuy.com, a British marketplace, the total number of shoplifting offences recorded by 42 police forces and constabularies in England and Wales, manually searching through each police force to identify individual accounts of shoplifting.

Player Loyalty in the Premier League and European teams

The footballers’ player market has seen an increase in the mobility of footballers, with new signings in European squads increasing sharply from 36.7% in 2009 to 44.8% in 2017. This begs the question of how loyal football players are to their teams, and are one-club men a dying breed? We sourced detailed figures revealing the average number of years a footballer spends at their employer club’s first team squad. Let’s just say, English football came out on top.

Brits love to talk about how atrocious we are as a nation of drivers, but have you considered how much councils in England earn from ticketing us on daily basis, for bad parking, or for an overstayed welcome? We championed our analytical skills and sought to identify exactly which councils in England are receiving the highest income from parking charges, analysing data as thoroughly as we could, sourced by one of the most renowned automotive companies in the UK.
