Key objective

Your primary objective is to create an environment where Reboot-ians can do their best work.

You'll take ownership of the employee experience across the agency, helping us attract, develop and retain exceptional talent whilst ensuring our people practices remain effective, compliant and aligned with Reboot's values.

You'll work closely with managers and leadership to strengthen engagement, improve retention, develop future leaders and continue evolving Reboot as one of the best agencies to work for in the UK.

Core responsibilities

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Lead initiatives that strengthen engagement, wellbeing, belonging and retention.
  • Own team socials, away days, recognition programmes and employee experience initiatives.
  • Gather employee feedback and turn insights into meaningful action.
  • Continually identify opportunities to improve life at Reboot through new initiatives, benefits and programmes.
  • Ensure people policies and programmes reflect Reboot's culture, values and tone of voice.
  • Support workplace award submissions and employer brand activity.

Performance & Development

  • Own onboarding, probation and performance review processes.
  • Support managers with performance conversations and development planning.
  • Evolve career pathways, progression frameworks and role structures.
  • Coordinate manager training and leadership development initiatives.
  • Support succession planning and future leadership development across the agency.

Recruitment & Talent

  • Support workforce planning and hiring activities.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
  • Develop interview frameworks and hiring best practices.
  • Support managers in attracting and assessing talent.

HR & Compliance

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Manage employee relations cases and support managers with people issues.
  • Maintain policies, documentation and HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.

About you

  • You've worked in a People Manager, HR Manager or similar role.
  • You've worked within a digital agency and understand agency life.
  • You have experience building employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • You enjoy helping managers develop and supporting people to perform at their best.
  • You're confident handling employee relations matters and have a strong understanding of UK employment law.
  • You have experience designing and improving people processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • You're organised, proactive and comfortable working autonomously.
  • You communicate confidently with people at all levels of a business.
  • You understand that great people practices need to work for both employees and the business.
  • You handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.

Bonus points if:

  • You've worked in a standalone people role
  • You've worked within a remote-first organisation.
  • You've delivered leadership development or learning programmes.
  • You've contributed towards workplace or employer award submissions.
  • You hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • You're a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
