You’ll be joining one of the UK’s largest Digital PR teams, working on a mix of high-value and cross-service accounts where strong leadership makes a real difference.

This role gives you full ownership of how accounts are run, from onboarding through to retention and growth.

You’ll have the opportunity to shape client relationships, influence delivery across services, and build a high-performing team around you.

Key objective

Your objective is to drive client satisfaction, retention, and high-performing delivery across your portfolio of Digital PR and cross-service accounts.

You’ll own the client relationship, acting as the senior point of contact and ensuring clients feel proactively supported and confident in our approach.

Internally, you’ll ensure campaign plans are organised, resourced, and executed effectively, keeping timelines, quality, and KPIs on track.

You’ll also lead the operational rhythm of your accounts, while managing and developing your team to deliver consistent performance and strong client experiences.

Core responsibilities

Client services and account ownership

  • Own and develop senior client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Lead onboarding and set clear expectations around cadence, process, and success measures
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cross-service accounts, ensuring alignment across teams
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and support renewals where appropriate
  • Lead client meetings, including QBRs, with clear communication on performance, progress, and next steps

Account delivery and communication

  • Own the operating rhythm across accounts, including WIPs, updates, and stakeholder comms
  • Ensure delivery is on time, on brief, and within scope, removing blockers quickly
  • Maintain oversight of campaign activity, timelines, and workloads across your team
  • Act as the escalation lead for issues relating to communication, delivery, or expectations
  • Coordinate internal teams across Digital PR, SEO, Data, and Design to ensure seamless delivery

Campaign oversight and quality

  • Oversee campaign roadmaps and delivery plans to ensure alignment with client goals and KPIs
  • Spot-check output to ensure quality, consistency, and suitability for external publication
  • Monitor performance and ensure reporting and tracking are kept up to date
  • Work closely with Strategists where campaign direction or rationale needs to be strengthened

Line management and team performance

  • Line manage Digital PR team members, setting expectations and improving performance
  • Build a high-performing, motivated team culture focused on quality and client experience
  • Identify skill gaps and support development through coaching and feedback
  • Maintain oversight of team KPIs and take early action where performance is at risk

Collaboration and leadership

  • Represent Digital PR in cross-departmental projects and integrated account discussions
  • Partner with Strategists and senior leadership to align delivery with business goals
  • Share learnings from accounts to improve ways of working and strengthen the service

About you

  • Proven experience in a senior Digital PR or client services role, ideally within an agency
  • Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience owning complex or multi-service accounts
  • Demonstrated line management experience, with the ability to coach and develop others
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple accounts and priorities with confidence
  • Commercially aware, comfortable owning account health, retention, and growth
  • Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and media databases

You’re someone who is calm, confident, and in control. You take ownership of client relationships, you spot issues early, and you deal with them before they escalate.

You know how to manage people properly, setting clear expectations while supporting development.

You balance strategic thinking with strong operational delivery, ensuring work is both effective and well run.
