Digital PR Case Study for OnBuy

The Brief

OnBuy who are striving to become Britain’s biggest online marketplace, were looking to increase domain authority as quickly as possible, drive traffic to thousands of products they sell online, and direct high quality organic links towards their site. They took Reboot on board to compile on-trend digital PR campaigns, which would in turn cause OnBuy to climb up Google rankings.

Our Strategy

We utilised data derived from the Police services, which offers open data about crime and policing in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We manually pulled data for all 42 police forces/constabularies across England and Wales over the last financial year of 2017-18 to identify individual accounts of shoplifting, and to expose the areas with the highest and lowest shoplifting rates.

The Results

This campaign was incredibly successful and has been featured across more than 20 publications, with several syndicated articles in regional newspapers, as well as being published in retail and business-related publications.
