Digital PR Case Study for Golf Support

The Brief

Golf Support is a leading worldwide supplier of golf equipment and apparel, with more than 90% of their business online. Golf Support came to Reboot after experiencing a huge drop in traffic after using a company who performed black hat SEO, causing their business to drop overnight. Golf Support approached us after realising that if we could rank ourselves on Google for our own key terms, then we could do the same for them and more. And the results speak for themselves.

Our Strategy

Reboot and Golf Support sought to investigate the world of online dating and whether certain attributes listed on your online dating profile can add to your chances of a successful right-swipe on Tinder. We conducted an experiment, creating a female and male Tinder profile, changing the bio several times to include different sports. Our aim? To see if playing sport increased your chances of a date.

The Results

This digital PR campaign for Golf Support found that playing certain sports can double your chances of a right-swipe on Tinder, especially if you’re a man. 

The campaign achieved more than 30 links, driving traffic to Golf Support from British and overseas publications.
